Forage

The food at Forage is connected to the land around us. We serve a single set menu made up of ingredients from the wild as well as small farms and ranches. We attempt to serve the best ingredients we can find in our area without losing the connection to their natural state. The dining experience is meant to represent our landscape as well as the changing seasons with warmth, authenticity, excitement, and imagination. Forage was opening in 2009 by Bowman Brown and Viet Pham, and in 2011 they were names Food and Wine Magazine’s best new chefs. Frisch Compassionate Eatery

Frisch Compassionate Eatery was established by Rachel and Leigh Kade in the Spring of 2012. The Kades have been vegetarians for over a decade, and vegans since 2009. Rachel and Leigh have a passion for delicious food, and now they have Frisch to introduce you to a whole new world of incredible flavor! Frisch is an eating establishment that does not use anything sourced from animals. We think that living a compassionate lifestyle is liberating, cleansing, and good for you… and should taste great, too! We can’t wait to fill you up with our “reFRISCHingly” tasty food! The foundation of our mission is to provide fantastic, compassionate food, source our food as locally as possible, avoid ingredients that need a Phd to pronounce, and give back to the fantastic community that has helped us make our dream come true. Frisch Compassionate Eatery is located at 779 South 500 East in Salt Lake City, Utah, just one block north of Liberty Park. The building we are in was built in 1906 and has a ton of history, housing everything from a bakery to Rico’s Market. We feel incredibly honored to continue...

Sugar House Farmer’s Market

Located in the heart of Sugar House, our goal is to create a neighborhood market for local growers, ranchers and locally made foods and crafts. The Sugar House Farmers Market believes in “growing farmers” and is proud to introduce small and emerging urban farms to the community.  While our emphasis is on local farmers and ranchers, we also provide booth space for arts and crafts, packaged foods such as cheese and pasta, and prepared food for eating on site (stay and have dinner with the family!).  We are excited to offer live, scheduled entertainment each week as well as special activities for kids, like the Junior Farmers Passport (in partnership with Slow Food Utah) and fall pumpkin carving.  This year, we are also offering weekly booth space to young entrepreneurs age 16 and younger. Help us support our community of growers and small entrepreneurs in Sugar...
